Why Do Companies Need "Quantum Talent" Now?

Acquiring a fundamentally different "thinking paradigm"

There is a fundamental difference in the underlying thought process—specifically, how mathematical algorithms are constructed—between conventional simulation and programming (classical computing) and quantum computing, which leverages principles of quantum mechanics such as superposition and entanglement. Mastering the intuitive feel required for this "counter-intuitive computational paradigm" is not something that can be acquired overnight; it is cultivated only through years of practical application and trial and error.

Architectural Design Capabilities in the Hybrid Era

In the near future, the standard configuration for high-speed processing systems will be a "quantum-classical hybrid" model that combines conventional supercomputers (HPC) with quantum computers (QPU). It is essential to acquire advanced skills that integrate IT and physics, enabling one to determine the optimal allocation of tasks between these computing resources and to design and operate the resulting integrated system.

The Need for Bridge Personnel to Translate Operational Challenges

No matter how high-performance a quantum computer may be, it is meaningless if a company cannot formulate its business challenges—such as identifying computational bottlenecks or determining which parameters to optimize—into the format of quantum algorithms. A company's capacity for business innovation hinges on the presence of "quantum bridge talent": individuals who possess domain-specific business knowledge, understand the potential and limitations of quantum technology, and can translate business issues into the specific problems that quantum computing can solve.
